WORK PHASES
The project envisages the creation of a database broken down by subject and able to define and highlight the economic sectors characterised by a greater degree of growth in the Venice area and in the Slovene regions of Obalno-Kraska and Goriska, for the preparation of suggestions for concrete collaboration; it also provides an analysis of all the information regarding the employment and self-employment market, which can thus be used to define the professional skills that need to be developed.
The work will be divided into three distinct phases:
Phase A: economic inter-relation
Analysis of the economic structure of the two areas in order to identify the most developed sectors in the Province of Venice and then suggest the activities that are capable of creating most work prospects, both employed and self-employed; analysis of the Slovene area, on the other hand, will have the purpose of identifying the activities that have developed professional skills and put firms in a position to embark on collaboration in the sectors where skilled labour already exists, thus creating local jobs and self-employed work opportunities.
Phase B: recruitment forecasts
An empirical survey of Venetian and Slovene businessmen to inquire into the training requirements to be cultivated in order to create job opportunities not only in the Venice area but also in Slovenia, thanks to manufacturing specialisations that can make it easier to develop agreements with Venetian concerns.
Phase C: qualitative employment characteristics
Employed and self-employed labour market statistics for the Venice and the Slovenia areas to define the quantitative and qualitative work scene.
This project has involved all institutions, both in Venice and Slovenia, which have data, information, opinions or assessments of assistance in this analytical task.
